No Surprise!!

Talk about a blog slacker!! –Shameful, I know-

So.. rewinding a bit..Ya’ll really didn’t think I was just going to leave you with that one lousy pic of Small’s turning the big 3-0, did ya??!! Ya’ll KNOW I’m a better blogger than that!! So, the Saturday after her actual birthday, Ashley, Dylan, & I headed down to the big ole’ town of Waco!! Holly’s husband Jered and I, had previously planned a, as my blog title suggests, “No Surprise” get-together to celebrate Smalls’ monumental birth year, and the day was finally here! It took Ash and I right about three hours of glorious girl talk and belting out Beyonce’s Halo with Dylan, to arrive, and just in the knick of time to catch a quick dinner at Chuy’s with Kimmy, Beth, Addie & Allie!! {YAY!} Such a wonderful dinner later, and we rushed over to Holly’s to decorate and setup for the big event, while Holly and Jered were having dinner themselves.

Ash and I headed out just after 11, and arrived safely in The View a little after 2!! I think Holly had a wonderful evening with family & friends!! Here’s to our thirty’s girl!! How old are we?! :)

What else.. last weekend, Matt and I spent the weekend with his parents. On Friday, we headed over for game night with Mikki & Christian, and Jerry & GiGi; and on Saturday, we went to Dallas to visit an old friend of his parents, and hit up the PGA Golf Superstore (just what I wanted to do {ha!}) and the Apple store at NorthPark! After our stops, we ended with Saltgrass for dinner before heading home.

Speaking of Matt’s family..I think I mentioned for Christmas, Matt and I, had MJ (our wedding photographer) come out and do family photos as a Christmas present. We did it the day after Christmas, and it was bitterly cold, but I thought they turned out great! Here’s a few:

What a let-down?! Vienna, really Jake??!! The most disgusting immature, trashy, drunken, boobalicious, pick of all! Sooo disappointing, for this self-proclaimed “Good-Ole” boy from Texas!!
