FERGALICIOUS!!

...Sadly, in just one short week, I will lose my surname forever. I've grown very accustomed to my last name, and for 28 years, have been proud to be known as a "Ferguson"... Don't get me wrong, I am excited to be married and take the "Bobo" name, and why wouldn't I..it's every stripper's dream name..Candy Bobo ;).. But, this past weekend was a little bitter sweet for me, as I celebrated my last weekend as a Ferguson.

On Friday, I joined Cody, Mel, Uncle Michael, and the kids at the Gilmer Yamboree. We all had a wonderful evening filled with fun rides, spectacular weather, and FANTASTIC corn dogs!! :) Here of course, are a couple of pics from our outing.

Brennan and neighbor Zowie. Brennan had so much fun riding the rides with Zowie!
..patiently waiting..
sweet Addi had lots of fun too..Dr. Pepper and Cotton Candy are good...

Saturday, as I had previously mentioned, was my bachelorette party. Me and my bridesmaids (Melanie, Holly, Ginger, Ashley, & Mikki (Casey had a free pass not to attend, after all..she does live in Massachusetts) and the other Casey (cousin and wedding singer) all headed to Shreveport and back to Superior and then to the Horseshoe.. quite possibly my favorite place on earth! :).

Matt attended his bachelor party on this day as well. After two rounds of golf, they retired at his friend Buddy's for the night. Matt and I both enjoyed getting to spend the evening with some of the people we love the most, before our big day.
Unfortunately, Matt didn't get any pictures from his day, but here's some of mine!

..who knows..
I can't believe everything is finally over..or it's finally here..This time next week, I'll be married and in another country..crazy! A special thanks goes out to parents, family, and friends for making this entire experience so wonderful and memorable for Matt and I. We can't wait to spend every second with you all before, during, and after the wedding. We love you all so much, and feel so blessed for the amazing gifts God has given each of us!
Until Next Time!

The Sun will come out Tomorrow..

I think I'm enjoying coming up with musical headlines, than anything..but looks like things are starting to look up..not really because we still have no Romo..but for fans like me that are HATING this week, here's a little good news.

The Dallas Cowboys have acquired wide receiver Roy Williams from the Detroit Lions.
The Cowboys on Tuesday traded a first-round pick in 2009, plus a third- and sixth-rounder that year for Williams and a seventh-round pick in ‘09.
Williams’ best season was 2006, when he went to the Pro Bowl after catching 82 passes for 1,310 yards and seven touchdowns. He has 17 catches for 232 yards and a score this season for the winless Lions.
The fifth-year receiver was drafted in the first round by Detroit out of the University of Texas. He has 262 career catches for 3,884 yards with 29 touchdowns.

..and once again, Until Next Time.

Mama's don't let your babies grow up to be Cowboys..

Is this week for real??!!

Dallas Cowboys cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones has been suspended for at least four games for his most recent violation of the league's personal conduct policy, the NFL announced Tuesday. In announcing his decision, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said Jones' "disturbing pattern of behavior was clearly inconsistent with the conditions I set for your continued participation in the NFL."
Goodell will determine the final length of Jones' suspension following the Cowboys' Week 11 game against Washington on Nov. 16, the league said.
In his latest transgression, Jones was involved in an alcohol-related physical altercation at a Dallas hotel on Oct. 8 that resulted in hotel employees calling the police.
Jones was suspended for the entire 2007 season for multiple violations of the league's personal conduct policy. In reinstating Jones on Aug. 28, Goodell said that the player's participation in the NFL depended on demonstrating that he can conduct himself in a socially responsible manner, avoiding any other conduct that brings disrespect to himself, his team, or the NFL.
The decision on whether Jones can return to play this season will be based on his strict compliance with his NFL and Cowboys treatment plans as well as on evaluations of Jones' progress that will be provided to Goodell by clinical experts retained by the NFL.

Until Next Time.

Tell Me I Was Dreaming..

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has a broken finger on his throwing hand and could be out for up to four weeks.
Romo, who had started 30 straight regular-season games since replacing Drew Bledsoe in 2006, broke his right pinkie on the first play of overtime in a 30-24 loss at Arizona on Sunday.
"We don't know how long he'll be out. It depends on how fast that heals," coach Wade Phillips said Monday. "I'd say week to week, depending on quickly he heals. Different people heal differently."
The injury, which Phillips said won't require surgery, leaves the Cowboys (4-2) with 40-year-old Brad Johnson as the starter. Johnson, who won a Super Bowl with Tampa Bay, hasn't started a game since 2006 in Minnesota.

Injuries will also sideline backup running back Felix Jones, punter Mat McBriar and receiver Sam Hurd. The Cowboys continued to evaluate Jones' partially torn left hamstring suffered Sunday, but a source told Werder the team expected the rookie to miss two to four weeks.
McBriar, who was carted off the field after his kick was blocked by the Cardinals' Sean Morey on the game's final play Sunday, will be out six to eight weeks with a broken right foot, the Pro Bowler told ESPN.com's Matt Mosley.
The Cowboys' regular season ends in 11 weeks, on Dec. 28 at Philadelphia.
McBriar's injury -- one main fracture and two hairline fractures -- won't require surgery. He said it likely happened when he made contact with Morey's knee.
Hurd will undergo surgery for a high ankle sprain and miss the rest of the season.

Happy Birthday to Melanie!

My fantastic sister-in-law, celebrated her 33 birthday on Thursday October 9th, and we celebrated this past Saturday night. Cody and Mel, Matt and I, Casey (Andy had to work), Seane & Ginger, and Cody's partner Brandon and his wife Julie, all loaded up and went to Superior Bar and Grill in Shreveport. We had a super fun time, and although Mel, is fighting the crud, she was such a little trooper!

Earlier in the morning however, I attended my boss's daughter, and dear friend, Christy's 2nd wedding shower. Christy is marrying Reggie on November 8th. It's been so great having someone to complain and compare wedding details with, and I can't wait to see the beautiful bride on her special day too!! :)

The bride's-to-be!! :)

Now..onto the Par-TAY' pics!! :)
On the road..
At Superior:
The birthday girl, gettin her dance on! :)
(What is wrong with that boy?!)
We're headed back to Superior next weekend, for my bachelorette party, and I'm predicting great fun from that evening too. Superior has a great atmosphere and INCREDIBLE Mexican food..so I'm really looking forward to it! :) I'm sure there will be some great pics to follow!!

Until Next Time!

So tonight I'm gonna party like it's 199...8!!

Wow.. This past weekend, we celebrated Longview High School's Class of 98's 10 year Reunion! It was GREAT to see all the girls again, and to catch up with long lost classmates and friends.
We kicked the party off Friday night with a little dinner at Papacitas. Me, Holly, Ginger, Ashley, and my friend Addie met up there and enjoyed some girl time, before picking up Jered (Holly's husband) and meeting the rest of the 98' class at Buffalo Wild Wings. This event was sort-of a meet & greet, mix & mingle kind of thing to kick off the weekend. We had lots of fun, lots of laughs (esp. when Holly "accidentally" poured half of her "beverage" in my purse!!..not so funny), and called it a night.

Saturday, Ashley's mom, Rhonda, hosted a brunch get together for all of the girls, hubbies, and kiddoes of the group. It was so much fun getting to see all the kids play together, and the girls being "real" mommies!! :) Here's a couple of pics from the gathering!

Addie & MabryCathy & AbbyBeth & Jackson
Holly & Parker Ashley & Lane Ashely & Dylan
.. I love the last two pics, because it really show's an accurate portrayal of how the pics with the kiddoes went.. too cute!! (Addie, seriously..is your child doing the "Miss America" wave??!!)

Around 1 or so, the hubbies took the kiddoes away, so that the mom's could enjoy some much needed "adult" girl fun!! We ate, chatted, reminisced, and took some more pics!! :)

Here's the gang 10 years ago! The first pic, obviously is at graduation, and the 2nd is from a senior party that Ash's mom and grandmother threw for us..kinda the reason Rhonda did it again 10 years later..

..and here's the "Now"!

I find it amusing how everyone looks the same..except, ME!! Not quite as thin, nor tan..and Smalls and I have discovered our "own identity".. matching...seriously?!

Pictured, Left to Right: (on couch) Amanda Russell Robertson, Beth Eager Zanolini, Kim Gor, Ashley Bullard Green, Addie Hoelzle Venables, (on floor) Cathy Craddock Tenner, Christi Satterwhite, ME, Holly Nelson Johnston, Ginger Parrott Richardson, Amy Lea Wiles, Kathy McAfee Eubanks (not pictured in the last pic, but above are Meredith Morton, Lauren Walker Chandler, Julie Kimbrough Austin, & Megan McLeroy Moore)

Saturday night, was the main event at the Summit Club. Holly and Jered came and picked Matt and I up, and we headed out on our way. The "after" party was held at Lindsey Hughes's lake house at Lake Cherokee. Here of course, are some pics.

UPDATED: Holly and husband Jered!!
Beth and husband Billy Ginger and husband Seane Addie and husband Andy
Amanda and husband Jon Ashley and husband Philip Kim and her boyfriend Daniel Me and "future" husband Matt :)
A pic of some of the guys..don't they look like they were having SO much fun, at OUR reunion!! :) Seane (ginger's) Matt (who knows!) Philip (ashley's) Jered (holly's)

Me-Ryan-Gin.. Ryan is my oldest and dearest friend. Seriously..oldest. I can't think of anyone I've known longer..we have pics at birth together, I mean..naked baby bath pics!! :)

The next few pics I just couldn't leave out...haha, seriously. fun times..when we say Longview - you say Lobos!! ..while Philip was doing this..
..his wife was doing this..

On Sunday, Matt and I enjoyed a much lower key day. It was Mikki's birthday, so we spent the day at Matt's parents house watching football, playing cards, and eating steak and baked potato's YUM! Here's Mik's birthday cake, that SHE made! ;)

this I stole from Mikki's blog.. according to her, it's my "I'm pissy my cowboys are losing!"

Matt & Clara playin!

I had such a wonderful weekend (my cowboys won by the way), and cherished every minute I got to spend with the girls.. I miss all of them so much, and wish we got to see each other more often. I'm looking forward to the wedding (not that I'll have anytime to really talk to anyone) but I'm thankful we can all be together again. 18 days to go!! :)

Until Next Time!!

..and I'll leave you with such a sweet pic! :)
