FANTABULOUS I tell you!! The most exciting thing EVER!! I made my "new years resolution" as you all know, back in January and I went to The Institute here, for all of about a hot minute, and since then..nada!! Until NOW!! I tell you, I have been working my fanny off the past two days, and I LOVE it..so fun, yet soooo challenging!! Thank-You Missy for this FANTABULOUS purchase! {I bought the Wii Fit, and contributed to the Wii..Missy picked up the rest!!} More details on the purchase to come..but I'll sum up the past week first.
The boys decided to wrastle (such a better word than wrestle) Uncle Mattie in the front yard that night..it was pretty hilarious, I don't think Matt thought so much though..
We got to spend a great night together, before saying our goodbye's and letting the bobo boys continue their spring break without us..before we left, I managed to get one more family pic!
We heard the boys thoroughly enjoyed their tour of UT..hung out with Mac Brown in his office, met a few players, Barbara said, "you really would have thought we were somebody!" "They treated us like royalty".. Jake said it was the BEST day of his life!! ;) When asked what PawPaw's favorite part was, he replied, "when we got to leave"..ohh, that's the SMU alum in him talking!! He said the facilities were incredible though! Next they headed to six flags like planned, where the Funder5 met em..here's a pic I stole from Mik.. 
We're sooo glad the boys enjoyed their trip down South, and made it back safely..See ya Christmas!! :)Wednesday, I kept Brennan and Addi while their parents were out of town on business..Sorry, horrible aunt..and no pictures!! I let Brennan go swimming that afternoon, it was so terribly hot that day..the water was a little too cold for CaCa and princess Addi though..later I got a phone call from my brother hoping I NEVER have children since I let his 5 year old go swimming in April..come on' it was HOT!! get over it!! ;) That night Missy came over, and we went to visit an old friend of my mom's, Mrs. Bevy! Her daughter Jana is getting married this weekend, and I'm sooo exicted to go..it's going to be a super nice wedding, prob. the nicest I've ever been to..I'll take pics!! :) We visited, and took a tour of Jana's beautiful new house they're building..it was a great little catchup with old friends..
Later in the week, Matt and I decided to do something we had put off for quite some time now. We have 2 cats, Minnie & Mitsy..both long hair, but Mitsy's hair is out-of-control long..and she always gets tangles in it..I started having her shaved a while back, but at $100 a pop, it can get pretty expensive. Matt has a set of clippers he got as a wedding gift from his family, and I had been begging him to give em a try out on Mitsy..Matt is VERY wishy washy about things like that..very timid in nature, scared he'll hurt her, so he was always weary of trying them out on Mitsy. Well I finally convinced him, and a couple -actually not so bad- minutes later, this is what we got...

Pretty successful, if I do say so myself!!The weekend came before we knew it. Friday Matt and I just went to dinner, then to Best Buy to "pre-shop" our purchase! We were supposed to hit up a movie, but we didn't quite make it. Saturday we slept in most of the morning, and Missy came over that afternoon. We headed to the soccer fields for Brennan's game at 4. He had had two T-ball games that morning, so by the time soccer rolled around he was pretty worn out. His sister too..
Man, she's pleasant sometimes..I don't know WHO she get's that from!! ;)
Cody and I both told Matt, we hope he's a little more enthused when his children begin to play sporting events!!
After the soccer game, Matt & Missy & I headed back to Best Buy for our Wii!! Matt and I rushed home to start playing. We just set the Wii up first, because we didn't have a lot of time. We were headed to Shreveport that night, and it was already late. We played 2 games of bowling, and I jumped in the shower. We arrived in Shreveport around 9:30 at Superior. Cody/Mel, Andy/Casey, Amber-Ginger/Seane, Clay/Kayln, Chad/Katie had eaten dinner at Ralph & Kakoo's at 8, but we didn't quite make that. Everyone except Chad/Katie met us at Superior, there we ate, and hung around till after 11. Matt and I, Cody/Mel, Sammy/Jennifer, and some friends of Sammy's headed to the Horseshoe afterwards..with NO LUCK we left around 2:30am!! Matt and I were so excited to be home, we wiied it until well after 4am!!!
After successfully kicking Mattie's behind in bowling, we decided to call it a night/morning! {Don't you love our Mii's..I'm so round and plump, and Matt's so bald and white..we call him "Powder!"}Sunday morning, we slept in..waaaay in- then continued on with the Wii. We had a late lunch, and logged SIX hours that day! We set the Wii Fit up, and I "banked" 1 hour and 1 minute, and Matt "banked" 35 minutes. It was funny to see our Mii's grow with our age, weight, and balance tests..ONE day, I'll have a skinny Mii!! The sound effects are hilarious, and the exercises are so spot on!! I can totally see how this thing can REALLY work, if you dedicate your time to it.
Yesterday evening we celebrated MeeMaw's birthday over at Mikki and Clay's. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEEMAW!! We spent another wonderful evening with family, and all played around on Mikki's WiiFit..it was sooo funny to see MeeMaw and PawPaw try out some of the exercises..esp. the yoga!! Me sooo not a tree!! :) Once we got home, I "banked" in 35 more minutes, did some jackknives..and lunges..ouch! and called it a night! My abs are soooo sore today. It hurts to do anything!! But, I can't wait to get back on tonight!! I LOVE seeing my charts go down!!

It was a pretty good movie up until the last thirty minutes..UGH, ruined the WHOLE movie..all that stupid sci-fi unrealistic garbage.. not pleased! :(

Yesterday was a beautiful day, but it was sooo windy and a bit chilly at times. The boys wanted to go tubing so terribly bad. We thought they were nuts..so we all concluded that if they would jump in first, and could stand it, then MeeMaw would take them!!

it was such a great day, but of course the day quickly turned into night, and it was time for Matt and I to head home. Before we did, I was able to snatch a brother/sister pic!
we can't wait to spend a couple more days with Mike and the boys before they head back north! Were plannin another cookout later this week at Mikki and Clay's, then Mike and the boys and MeeMaw and PawPaw are headed off to Austin. Mike talked to his old pal..
Matthew McConaughey!! ;) Matt was able to pull a few string and the boys are going to take a tour of the UT's stadium, locker room, and meet a couple of the players. Jake already knows he wants to go to Texas and play football, so I can't imagine how cool it will be for them.. I told everyone if Matthew happens to be there, to just give me ring..and I'll be there in 5..hours that is!! :) They'll conclude with Six Flags in Dallas before heading back!!
