Since my previous post was all about Kenny, I’ve snagged some pics from my peeps, and I wanted to share a little of what we did last week~! On Tuesday night, Matt and I headed over to MeeMaw and PawPaw’s house to visit, play on the lake, and have dinner with the Funder 5, and Jimmer!! Jimmer is Mike’s wife Casey’s sister! It was our first meeting, and I have to conclude that she was wicked cool!! :) Casey is one of four GIRLS, so I have 2 yet to meet. Here’s a couple of pics from our night on the lake- and best yet, a video of Christian on the tube..it is a MUST see!!! M-U-S-T see.. Hilarious!! :)
After dinner, we all sat around and listened to stories from Jimmer, and then she finally brought out the medal!! Jimmer was on the 2006 US Olympic Women’s Ice Hockey team, where the girls won bronze!! I asked her all about opening and closing ceremonies, and she posed for a couple of pics for Mik and I for our blogs!! ;) It was awesome getting to see a real life Olympic medal in person..not to mention meeting an actual Olympic winner, I always knew I was related to some pretty talented people!!! lol!! :)
On Wednesday night, Holly came over to catch up on some shows with me. She picked up Juicy’s for us, and we ate and visited for a while. Her maternal grandmother had passed away the Sunday before (Mother’s day) after her courageous battle with Cancer. So despite the circumstances, it was a wonderful visit and catch-up. The following day, I picked the kids up from school, and we headed over to Holly’s grandparents house, so the kids could play with Parker for a bit. I kept asking Brennan if he remembered his “old house”..When we went outside to the backyard, Brennan said, “I remember this!” talking about running up and down the “hill” in the backyard..also Parker’s favorite thing to do!! :) Here’s a pic from Holly of all the kids doing just that..
**please excuse Brennan’s –We Wear Short Shorts- shorts..he had to use his “backup” pair, when he fell down and got blood on his..I believe his backup pair, were Addi’s..Wow**

I, too, enjoyed our catch-up time together! Can you believe Kris won!?! I actually voted for the first time EVER because I didn't want Adam to win.
The medal looks way bigger "in person" than it does on tv!
